Steel Float Pans
Steel Float Pans
Float Pans clip on to the bottom of Trowel Machine blades, forming a large spinning disc that trowels the concrete smooth, helping achieve super flat concrete floors. Typically used on Ride-on Trowel machines and on large commercial slabs, the float pan is normally used to ‘break’ the slab. The steel pan creates suction, drawing the slurry to the top and filling any imperfections in the slab left from screeding. By having a larger surface area than traditional floats the pan not only increases production but also achieves a flatter and superior quality slab.
Safari Group stocks a broad range of Float Pans including steel and composite pans in the premium Allen Engineering brand, which come in a flat or super flat configuration. The super flat has unnoticeable dish and will offer a flatter slab, where as the flat pan has a slightly dished surface to provide better handling and put less strain on the troweling machine.
Allen Engineering pans are the go-to brand for any serious commerical concreter and will ensure you get a consistent flat floor, achieving high FF numbers.
