Keyjoint & Capping
Keyjoint & Capping
Connolly Keyjoint is a high quality preformed metal joint for the control of shrinkage cracking and differential movement in concrete slabs. The ‘key’ shape of the joint ensures the two slabs of concrete interlock, meaning the slabs will not deflect up or down from each other at the joint. This prevents dangerous trip hazards and premature breaking down of the joint from misaligned concrete.
The keyjoint (also referred to as Danley Keyjoint) comes in the following sizes to match common slab thicknesses: 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm & 300mm. It can be supplied with a complete dowel system with plastic sleeves and steel dowels, or can be used as a stand-alone joint with no dowels.
Safari Group also stocks a full range of different capping options to suit the keyjoint, in various sizes and colours.
