Galvanised reinforcing bar is reinforcing bar that has had a hot dip galvanised coating applied to it, to guard against corrosion and rust. Safari Group stocks both smooth round and deformed (ribbed) reo bar in hot dip galv (HDG) coating in a range of sizes, from 10mm up to 24mm diametre. Larger sizes are also available to order.

The standard galv reo bars are 6m in length, however we can cut and bend these into custom sizes to your requirements for a fee. Please call our friendly staff to discuss your processed galv reo bar requirements.

Galvanised reinforcing is often used in concrete structures in marine environments, or other high corrosion environments such as chemical plants.
