Reidbar is a threaded steel reinforcing system used to key suspended concrete slabs to vertical walls in separate pours. The Reid threaded bar and insert system saves time onsite and provides a proven engineered system to replace lapping or threading reinforcing bar.

The Reidbar system is rated to 500N, is simple to use and enables more effective engineered connections in any concrete structure. Reid Ferrule Inserts are cast into the slab in the first pour, and the corresponding threaded Reid bar is wound into the ferrule prior to the second pour.

Reid ferrules and bars are available in 12mm, 16mm and 20mm diametres for all engineering applications. The threaded bars are available in stock 6m lengths, and also in shorter pre-cut starter bar configurations. Also available in couplers, grout tubes, inserts and nailing plates.
