Bottom Deck Spacer Chairs are used in suspended concrete slab applications for holding the bottom layer of steel reinforcing bar or mesh at the correct height, or ‘cover’. Sometimes referred to as BDK’s, Deck Spacer chairs are ideal for concrete tilt panels, precast panels, suspended slabs and many other slab applications.

These sturdy grey bar chairs are supplied with 5 small ‘dimple’ feet, meaning they make minimal contact with the formwork and give an almost invisible finish when looking at the slab from beneath. Ideal for Class 1 & 2 applications.

Bottom deck spacers are an ideal replacement to traditional ‘spider’ steel chairs, and are designed to handle high load ratings in the harsh Australian environment. Supplied in bags of 100, and often used in conjunction with Top Deck Spacer Chairs.
