Plastic-tipped Wire Chair

A$0.00

Plastic-Tipped Wire Chairs, also known as spider chairs or wire spacers, are used to support reinforcing bar and mesh in suspended slabs or other concrete structures. They enable the reinforcing to be placed at the correct ‘cover’ or spacing, from the edge of the concrete as specified by the engineer.

Safari Group’s premium wire spacers are coated in a heavy duty plastic film on the bottom of the chair legs to prevent rust from marking the outside face of the concrete , and also to stop rust entering the concrete via the metal chair and causing concrete cancer.

We stock a massive range of sizes, starting at 20mm high and going all the way up to 300mm high. All our steel spacers meet the Australian Standard AS/NZS 2425:2015 and are sold in bags, please contact us for bag quantities and available sizes.
