Pneumatic External Vibrators
Pneumatic External Vibrators
External Pneumatic Vibrators are used to vibrate formwork from outside the concrete pour, providing a consistent finish and removing the need for immersion vibrators to be placed in the concrete. They are especially useful in pours with very tight spacing of reinforcing, which makes it difficult to get traditional poker vibes down in between the reo to successfully vibrate the concrete.
Pneumatic Vibrators are highly efficient and compact in size, providing a reliable vibration alternative with no electrical components.
Designed to operate off an air compressor, our pneumatic vibes run at very high speeds, generally between 10,000 to 17,000 rpm. They are ideal for wall and bridge applications and also commonly used in precast plants. With a working pressure of 6 bar, these units can produce a max noise level of 103db per vibrator, so hearing protection must be worn when in use.
We also sell the clamps used to attached the vibrators to steel and timber formwork. Clamps are suitable for use with most of the common formwork brands such as Peri, Doka, Meva, Paschal, Noe and Hunnerbeck.
Ideal for sites where a large air compressor is already available
Suited to applications with tight reo spacing and limited access
Avoid OH & S issues with workers dragging heavy immersion vibes up onto scaffolding
